Birth Support

Birth Doula Care

Support for your birth, your way.

Calm, supported moment during labor preparation at home

What birth doula support involves

Birth doula support offers emotional, informational, and practical support before and during labor. We're here to help you feel informed, prepared, and cared for — holding space for your choices and your voice throughout your birth experience.

Support usually begins in pregnancy, with unhurried time to talk through your hopes, your questions, and the birth preferences you want your care team to understand. As labor begins, your doula stays with you for continuous support — comfort measures, steady encouragement, and help communicating the things that matter to you. Many families also value a visit in the early postpartum days to talk through how birth went and how everyone is settling in.

Birth doula support is offered by both Jennifer and Heather, and we care for families throughout Minnesota — in hospital and at home, wherever you plan to welcome your baby.

Birth doula support complements, but does not replace, the care of your medical team. We do not perform clinical or medical tasks.
