Feeding Support
Feeding & Lactation Support
Calm, non-judgmental support for feeding your baby, your way.

Feeding support without judgment
Feeding can look different for every family — and every family deserves to feel supported, informed, and at ease. We offer gentle encouragement and practical guidance as you and your baby find what works.
Early feeding is a learning curve for both parents and babies. There can be nights of cluster feeding, questions about whether your baby is getting enough, soreness, exhaustion, and advice coming from every direction. Having someone calm to think it through with you — in your home, on your timeline — can make those first weeks feel far less isolating.
We support families throughout Minnesota, alongside our birth and postpartum care.
We provide non-medical feeding support and education. For clinical feeding or lactation concerns, we can help connect you with qualified medical or lactation professionals.
Support may include
What to expect when you reach out
There is no perfect time to ask for feeding help — before your baby arrives and in the middle of a hard week are both good moments.
We start with your story
What feeding has looked like so far, what feels hard, what you've already tried, and what you want it to feel like going forward.
Support that fits your goals
Whether you are breast/chestfeeding, pumping, combination feeding, or formula feeding, the goal is a plan that works for your family — not a single right way.
Referrals when they help
If something needs clinical attention, we say so plainly and help you connect with a lactation consultant or your baby's healthcare provider.
Doula support and clinical lactation care
Doula feeding support is educational and emotional: helping with positioning, routines, confidence, and the everyday questions of feeding a newborn. It is not a medical visit. We do not diagnose, treat, or prescribe, and we do not assess for conditions that need clinical care.
If you are concerned about your baby's weight, jaundice, pain, supply, or anything that feels medical, please contact your baby's healthcare provider. When clinical lactation care would help, we will say so and help you find it — and we are glad to keep supporting you alongside it.
Explore other support
Many families combine support across pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum weeks. Here is what else we offer.
Feeding is a journey — you don't have to figure it out alone.
Whether you're expecting or already home with your baby, we'd love to support you.
